Justin and Lindsay have led thousands of travelers around the world over the past 15 years, crafting itineraries that combine remarkable destinations, authentic cultural access, and unforgettable experiences. Their work in global travel has included partnerships with organizations such as National Geographic, Canon, SunRun, Mint Construction, as well as owning multiple other travel companies including ROAM Humanitarian, RISE Youth Expeditions, and Illuminate Youth Trips.
Justin Bowen is an expedition leader, travel designer, founder of Illuminate Youth Trips, and co-founder of ROAM Lifestyles. Over the past fifteen years he has led thousands of travelers across the globe, designing immersive journeys that span all seven continents. Justin founded Illuminate Youth Trips to create meaningful global travel experiences that foster growth, connection, and exploration. Through this work and his broader career in expedition travel, he has built a reputation for designing powerful travel experiences that blend adventure, culture, and human connection. Justin specializes in designing complex itineraries and logistics for both intimate luxury travel and large-scale group experiences. Whether organizing a private expedition to Antarctica or coordinating multi-country journeys for hundreds of travelers, his focus remains the same: creating travel experiences that clients will remember for the rest of their lives.
Lindsay Bowen is co-founder of ROAM Lifestyles and founder of ROAM Humanitarian. With a Master of Science degree in Leadership, Lindsay brings a strategic and human-centered approach to travel design and global experiences. Lindsay’s passion lies in connecting people to meaningful experiences around the world. Through ROAM Humanitarian she has created opportunities for travelers to engage with communities in authentic and impactful ways, while her work with ROAM Lifestyles focuses on crafting seamless travel experiences that inspire connection, perspective, and purpose. Her ability to build relationships across cultures and create meaningful human connections is central to the ROAM philosophy.
